Hello! This time I'm reporting the most important issue of the month: Trend Forecast 2016! I'm so excited <3

I have to remind you that this trend forecast is all from my observation, you may or may not follow all the lists. This report is basically just from some news I've read in internet, so please just enjoy!

- the Denim we love!
Denim is never out of date, right? The good thing about denim is we can wear it with any kind of mix and match, to any occasion, anytime. From what I've read, there will be two basic denim style happening in 2016. They are: denim patchwork jeans and flare jeans! Here's a tips: wear the flare jeans with a crop top, and you're good to go! Love love love them both. I think I'm gonna get one, too!

- Chic Rose and Serenity colors
The trending color report is my favorite part, and for 2016, I am super loving the colors! Both are pastels colors, my favorite colors: Rose and Serenity Blue! Been reading about these two colors that happening on runway, and I can't wait any longer to wear them :D

- Victorian high-neck
This too, is my favorite classic piece. You may notice I'm a big fan of those turtle-neck tops and sweaters from my previous posts, and here goes, for 2016, Victorian high-neck is trending! From runway to street style, anyone can wear this vintage-classic inspired pieces. Go get yours!

I know it's not much but I hope it helps some of you who have been wondering what to wear in 2016. Those three styles above are my favorite from '2016 trending', and I'm looking forward to post some fashion pictures in 2016. Keep reading my blog, and leave a comment or an e-mail if you have some questions!

Hi all! This time I’m sharing a sight from my double life as a student, and as a fashion blogger. You guys might think that a fashion blogger is a fancy person, who’s livin a fancy life and doing shopping all the time, and many other things which are quite wrong.

So here goes, some facts about the life behind the blog, from my point of view.

We don't shop that much!
A fashion blogger doesn’t shop “that much”! Believe it or not, I am a big fan of thrift-shopping! You don’t always have to buy expensive stuffs. Sometimes you can buy less-expensive things and make it looks nice by mixing it in the right way. Trust me, the best thing you can wear is confidence. So whatever you wear, if you are confident with it, you will look great! Here’s a tips: fill your wardrobe with 80% of basic pieces like jeans, basic tee and blouses, tailored pants, suit, and some dresses. And the other 20%, you can fill with some trending fashion pieces. Because in my opinion, if you always follow trend, they will be like ‘so yesterday’ in the next few months or the next few years.

Workin. Workin. Workin.
A fashion blogger works everytime, everywhere. We can work from the office, at home while wearing loose t-shirt, or even when we’re abroad. I am basically working from my home almost on every blog-post I’ve made. I am just sitting in front of my laptop and writing ideas and everything. Because for me, I am taking this blog professionally as a job, as a hobby that I’m workin it with love and passion.

No fancy life
A fashion blogger can still eat everything they want. We still use public transportations, or even walk from place to place. We basically just ordinary human being. We basically just livin a life like other people is. Nothing fancy.

We're still learning, too
A fashion blogger is still learning about fashion too! We are no fashion god. So we still need to hear comments and feedbacks from other people. I think that fashion is keep growing and changing everyday, so that’s why I think fashion blogger is still learning about fashion too. You don’t have to copy all styles or buy everything a blogger is wearing. Because it’s okay to have your own style, as long as you feel good in it.

Strike a pose, no?
I am still learning how to work in front of the camera xD Honestly, you might think my instagram feed is such a hall-of-fashion-photos. But no. They’re not. Most of the time, I ask my friends or my brothers or sisters to take some photos of me. And almost all photos were taken on the sidewalk in random time, when we’re on our way to someplace.

I hope that explains some questions how do I live behind the blog. Don;t forget to leave a comment when you visit my blog, I'd love to hear from you! <3

xoxo

This one is actually not the usual kind of post I’ve wrote. This time I’m sharing some photos of my last Sunday activity, some shots from my friend, the talented Mr.Faiz Muttaqy (you should check on his instagram!) We went to this iconic giant ferris wheel in Sindu Kusuma Edupark (SKE) Jogjakarta. We were just basically taking some photos and strolling around the park, and spending good times on weekend, before we head back to busy weekdays!

Please enjoy some pictures and do make a visit to this beautiful theme park if you have spare time! And everywhere you go, don’t forget to snap :)

We finally had a chance to spend a week in Bali together! My family has been planning for the trip for so long, but we never had a chance because of everybody’s business. And finally we’re here!

Enjoying sunset view at Tanah Lot
We arrived in Bali on second day of Ied. We stayed in Bali for 5 days 4 nights, in a hotel named Asana Agung Putra around Kuta. It was a very nice place in the middle of Kuta. We can just walk to get to the beachwalk mall, to the tiny shops along Kuta or along Legian. There were soooo many good shops with variable choices and variable prices. I can spend hours just strolling around, from shop to shop. There were also many good restaurants and café. What I love of all these is, every food they served is in big portion and the most important thing is, they always served fresh veggies! (I’m a big fan of veggies, but not a big fan of fruits)

The very famous Nasi Ayam Bu Mangku Kadewatan!

We started our day with a breakfast in the hotel (I love how the hotel crew really talked to each visitors every morning on breakfast time. They were really nice, asking about plan of the day, how was the food, and everything). After that we went to Kadewatan to try out the famous ‘Nasi Ayam Bu Mangku’. It. Was. So. Good! The next destination is Pasar Ubud. I love this place too! They sell many handcrafted goods, in reasonable price! We also enjoyed having gelato in a very sunny day. After that we went to Ku.De.Ta in Seminyak to catch sunset. This place is a club, facing the beach. We can either sit at the club or sit at the beach and play around. It really was a nice place to enjoy sunset with the beloved ones.

Who doesn't love gelato for a sunny day?

On the third day, we went to Tanjung Benoa to play some watersports! This was the second best thing on this trip! (I’ll tell you the first one later). We spent half-day there and played flying fish, parasailing, and banana boat. All of our clothes were wet but yet we were soooooo happy and laughing all the time! After that we went to Tanah Lot to catch sunset. Tanah Lot was also very beautiful (and a lil bit magical, somehow). We took a lot of pictures there. We were planning to watch Kecak Dance in Tanah Lot, but unfortunately there was no show for that night because they used the place for some kind of praying. For the dinner, we went to this restaurant called ‘Café Batujimbar’ in Seminyak.

Brother and I are having so much fun!
Colors, and blue sky
On the 4th day, me and my sister and my brother took a walk around Kuta and Legian, from morning to noon. We strolled around store to store and bought some nice things, while my mom and my dad were enjoying time at a café around Kuta. After that, we went to Sukowati to buy some souvenirs. The next destination is Ubud! I think Ubud is the best place to stay in Bali. It is actually far from the beach, but somehow it has many beautiful views too. Hills and mountains and little shops and café around the road, and so many traditional Balinese cultures on every corner. At the night, we watched Kecak Dance Show in Pura Taman Sari, Ubud. This is the very best thing on this trip! I love love love love the show. It is somehow super-magical, it is a lil bit creepy, but it is the most ‘Balinese’ experience I love. Unfortunately I was so serious watching the show and didn’t take a lot of pictures :(

My everyday essentials during holiday <3

Bali, thanks for the warm greetings, the great stay, the nice view, and the good food. I will be back again. Soon. xx

It was a very beautiful holiday, thanks Bali <3
Traveling never been this good! I was on vacation few days before Ied (on July 2015). Me and my whole family went to Bromo!

The beautiful Bromo view <3

We stayed at a very nice hotel called ‘Java Banana’. FYI, this is the hotel they use every year for the event called ‘Jazz gunung’. It was such a very very very beautiful hotel! It was quiet and very relaxing. We only stayed for two days one night. But it is enough for a pleasing short vacay.

The nice weather meets the nice view

Afternoon snacks and tea-time!

On our first day of staying, we didn’t do much because we arrived at noon. We were just relaxing in our rooms and strolling around the hotel to take some photos. The next day, we woke up very early at 3 AM to go on a tour called ‘sunrise tour’. We went there by a jeep and it was sooooo freaking cold. I wore two t-shirts and covered them with a soft yellow knitted sweater, plus a thick shawl, and it was still very cold.

We enjoyed catching sunrise at the top of the hiking track. But unfortunately it was so crowded so there wasn’t any good picture of the sunrise :( After that, we got to a tour to the Mount Bromo itself. We can walk or ride a horse to get to the top of the mountain. There were so many stairs, but it all paid off after we reached the top and enjoyed all the beautiful view!

They love taking jump-shots!

Sadly we couldn’t stay long enough because we had to get back to the hotel and continue our journey to Bondowoso to celebrate Ied (the next day).

Over all, it was a very pleasing holiday, with a very cold weather but a very warm greeting from Bromo :)
